Our custom made shower screens can be installed onto any solid base, whether it be a shower tray, a tiled floor or even granite and marble floors.
-
Yes, you should plan your shower screen before you build or renovate your bathroom to achieve the very best possible look and practicality for your shower screen. However, through our expertise and substantial knowledge we have fitted quite literally thousands of frameless shower screens over the years and we are very proud to say that there has never been a situation we couldn’t find a solution.
-
Frameless shower screens are fully water tight, if installed correctly. This is yet another reason why we only offer a full measure and installation service. To tightly seal a frameless shower screen takes full knowledge of frameless systems, which we have 15 years of, longer than any other leading frameless shower screen company in the U.K.
*Please note that this is only the case providing the shower tray/base of the shower has a sufficient fall towards the shower waste, and not sloping away from it and towards the door. -
Lead time from the day of measure to the day of installation is no more than 2 weeks from the day of measure to the day of installation, if a specific metal finish is required other than polished or satin/brushed chrome lead times may be up to 4 weeks.

No, you cannot cut safety glass. Once float (normal) glass has gone through the toughening process it is set. You cannot cut or drill the glass panel without breaking it.
-
This depends on whether safety or style is your number priority. For safety purposes we recommend the Support Bar, whereas if you are looking for style many will choose a Corner Bracing Shelf. The Support Bar offers more stability than the Corner Bracing Shelf. The Support Bar is designed for people who are greatly concerned about safety, its design is suitable for families with younger children who are not aware of the risk factors when playing around glass. Alternatively, the Corner Bracing Shelf complements well with the frameless shower screen and gives extra storage space to place your shampoos and conditioners.
-
It depends on the model shower screen. Some shower screens has the door hinged off the wall, it is not necessary to use a Support Bar or a Corner Bracing Shelf. Other models have a door hinged off another fixed panel of glass, with these models we highly recommend you do choose a Support Bar System or the Corner Bracing Shelf should the hinge panel be more than 300mm in width.

We cover the whole of the U.K but are also capable of installing projects anywhere in the world.
-
We do not offer a supply only option, this is due to the critical need for the glass to be both measured and installed perfectly, if either of these critical points are not perfect, the result could be a far bigger financial outlay due to new glass having to be made for example.
-
10mm safety toughened glass is our standard choice of glass thickness, it does not feel flimsy like thinner glass does yet its not too heavy, so allows for reasonable sized doors with minimal fittings.
-
There are many options when it comes to glass, whether it is standard clear glass, low iron (optically clear glass), sandblasted, satin acid etched, black/grey tint, blue tint, bronze tint, green tint, the choices are endless.
-
Our standard finish is polished chrome, however we work closely with some of the very best metal finishers in the country which allows us to offer quite literally any metal finish available, costs of which are dependable on metal finish required.
-
Glass and metal hardware will last a lifetime but must be maintained correctly, we recommend that after a shower a squeegee is used to remove any water from the glass, this makes maintenance of the glass extremely minimal, it will help to avoid limescale building and will look brand new all the time.
Any metal hardware should only ever be cleaned by using a very soft cloth and warm soapy water, in no circumstances should any bleach or any other harsh detergents be used, these will damage the glass and metal hardware
